Cultural Exchange Program

The cultural exchange program started for me from the arrival in Tokyo. Emotions began to overwhelm me from the first minute. For me, everything was unusual. For example, friendly airport staff, Japanese hieroglyphs, and much more.
The first day I went to Tokyo with my friends. First of all, we went to Akihabara district. This is a great place to buy something original, something that nowhere else you can not buy. The place itself is unusual and very unique, because here you can meet cosplayers, visit specific festivals and more. Here I first tried the Japanese cuisine.

Akihabara district

I visited the famous place of Tokyo, the crossroad of Shibuya, which is famous for films and people randomly crossing the road.
The next day we went to Kanazawa University. The first day was devoted to acquaintance of the exchange program, and acquaintance with the Japanese students.

Flight to Kanazawa

I visited facilities for recycling and processing of garbage, water treatment. It was important to get acquainted with the technology of garbage processing because in my country this is a big problem.

Toshitu Shinpo Landfill Site

West Environmental Energy Center

I visited the villages of Gokayama and Shirokawago. It was important to learn as much as possible about these objects of cultural heritage.

Gokayama

For five days I lived in the village of Shiramine. The village is inhabited by approximately 800 people. In the village and beyond, I visited museums, old national houses and other interesting objects. In the village there was a Hakusan festival which I took part in.

I'm in a festive suit

I am glad that I managed to visit Japan, got acquainted with the culture and traditions of the Japanese people. And also my professional skills have increased.
