Bessonova Tatiana

Engineering School, Far Eastern Federal University

Advanced Science and Technology Program

I first participated in a student exchange program between Russia and Japan and I really enjoyed it! Two weeks passed so quickly, because there was a lot of interesting things. The organizers prepared excursions for us at the enterprises of Kanazawa, besides, we were engaged in laboratories and received both practical and theoretical knowledge.

Welcome party.

Everything was very cool, especially I liked the Shika Nuclear Power Station and Actree, for me it was very surprising that the energy that comes from the burning of garbage goes to the heating of water for the city, it is very suitable from the point of view of economy and environmental protection. It was also interesting to see the equipment that Tsudakoma (textile machinery company) produces.

During my stay in Japan, I managed to get acquainted with the culture, food and attractions. Especially I liked Kenrokuen Garden because I love nature. Kanazawa Castle is also a very interesting atmospheric place, which is also worth visiting.

I am very glad that I visited Kanazawa and I express my great gratitude to Kanazawa University for such an excellent opportunity! I learned a lot about the country, its culture, received new theoretical knowledge in the field of optimization for my specialty, which will be useful to me, met wonderful people and found friends. Thank you for everything! I hope that someday I will again visit such a beautiful country - Japan.
