Advanced Science and Technology Program

I really enjoyed participating in the student exchange program between Russia and Japan. Two weeks passed like one moment. The organizers prepared for us a variety of tours to Japanese factories, and besides that we also engaged in laboratories in KU. I, for example, acquired practical knowledge in the field of molecular biology, and also made there new friends. Of all the tours I liked more visiting ACTREE, because I also think that the environment should be taken care of.

Life in Japan was very interesting, we not only attended training sessions, but also got acquainted with the culture, food and attractions of Kanazawa. All weekend we spent in the center of the city, plunging deeper into the uniqueness of Japan. People here are very friendly and always told us how to get to the right place. I most of all remember visiting the Kenrokuen Garden and other parks, because I love nature. As a biologist, I was interested to get acquainted with the Japanese flora and fauna, which amazes with its diversity.

I was completely satisfied with this trip and even learned a few phrases in Japanese. I express my great gratitude to Kanazawa University for such a wonderful chance! I hope that in the future I will have the opportunity to visit this wonderful country with a hospitable people again.
