Cultural Exchange Program

Moscow State University, Kazan State University, Saint Petersburg State University

I participated in a two-week Russian cultural exchange program from August to September. I have learned a lot and have been aware of it for two weeks. In particular, the activities in Yelabuga city and Nizhnyaya Kama National Park are very impressive. Because I major in biotechnology, the story about the relationship between the chemical plant and the natural surroundings seen from the city of Yelabuga is very interesting, and I feel like I have a glimpse of the relationship between artifacts and nature that should be. I feel that there are many things that sacrifice the rich nature when creating various infrastructure facilities, including chemical plants. The issue of whether to give priority to rich living or to give priority to rich nature is a very difficult issue. Even if a large chemical plant was built in the suburbs, we were able to find one of these solutions from the Kama River landscape seen from Nizhnyaya Kama National Park, which keeps the same scenery as 100 years ago. I felt that it was a great activity near Yelabuga.
