As a representative of Kanazawa University, we left Narita Airport on August 27 and headed to Moscow and stayed in Moscow until September 1.  The first thing that surprised me when I arrived in Moscow was that nature was spreading as far as I could see it.  I had a strong impression that Japan was rich in mountains and forests,but I had never experienced a situation where everything was seen as a forest, so I was overwhelmed by the majestic nature of Russia.  When I moved around the city, I was not only surprised by the number of trees, but also the colorful flowers.  There were a lot of plants in a beautiful building, but there was no sense of incongruity, but I could feel that the scenery was wonderful.  I realized the greatness of the city of Moscow, where nature and the city coexist well.  On the second day, I studied Russian at Moscow University. Many of the writings were similar to Roman letters, so it was easy to remember, but the pronunciation was quite struggling with pronunciation and curling tongues that were not found in Japanese.  However, the simple greetings I learned here were very useful for student exchanges and city walks, so I felt that it was very important for cultural exchanges to remember only simple greetings.  This time we visited three cities, each with a different impression.  I felt that each was wonderful and I wanted to visit again.  I hope that the appeal of Russia will be conveyed to many people.
