Wonderful time in Russia

Russia

I visited Russia in August 27 to September 10. Until then I had not gone to foreign countries for more than two weeks, so I had many worries about food, public security and health etc. However, looking back my experience, I could have a great time for 15 days. The most enjoyable thing was taking a walk on Nevsky Street. This street was very long, so I walked for more than 10 kilometers in a day. In japan, I usually do not walk for such distance, but very beautiful townscape spreads even if I walked. That’s why I could enjoy taking a walk. Other things I noticed were there were many trash boxes. Those things were placed every few meters. I thought that placing a lot of trash boxes would make people not to litter, but probably waste was not separated. Then, I did not decide this system is good or bad for nature. Lastly, what I felt uneasy about smoking while walking. This problem has big influence for human health. People should know about harm caused by tobacco. I really think that I exposed my body to smoke of a lifetime. During this program, I experienced many events, felt nature, and considered about human health. We can only have these experience in a university program, so if you hesitate, you should join.
