Preventive Medicine Program

Purpose

Exchange program for doctoral students in brain neurology, preventive medicine, cancer medicine, and cardiovascular medicine. Counterpart institutions are Krasnoyarsk State Medical University, Kazan Federal University, Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University, and Tatarstan Cancer Center. The purpose is to develop the future leaders in the field of medicine who will learn about the advanced technology of each other countries by making the laboratory-rotations (inbound) and research presentation duirng joint symposium (outbound).

Overview

Outbound

A program including research activities in laboratories and oral presentations for joint symposiums held regularly based on joint research. Credits are granted as advanced medicine seminars. The content of the course is vary according to the destination, but will include a visit to a laboratory related to the development of medical equipment, regardless of academic area.

Inbound

An advanced technology training program by lab rotation shall be established for the academic areas named above, with the aim of learning basic technology in about two to three weeks.

Lab rotations (Inbound)

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, students will participate remotely in the program provided by Kanazawa University.

Participation in academic conferences (Outbound)

For russian partnership university, joint symposiums will be offered remotely.
