Cultural Exchange Program
This was my first time in Japan. Despite the weather in Kanazawa being very snowy, we were warmly treated by the locals. Kanazawa carries characteristics of a small and big city at the same time. The center has lots of malls, fashionable shops, just like any big city, and the outskirts are peaceful and quiet. Japanese classes were the place where I could express myself in Japanese language, knowing that teacher will always carry out the conversation and politely correct my mistakes. Lots of cultural activities provided by the program helped me to better understand Japanese traditional culture. I loved the trip to Gokayama, where we visited a beautiful village in the mountains and spent the night at the traditional Japanese house. This program gave me memories that I will treasure for my whole life, it helped me to draw a better picture of my future and made me realize many things.
