Dear everyone,

I would like to share all about my interesting experience at Kazan Federal University. Thanks to the cooperation of Kazan Federal University and Kanazawa University, I had a short-term study abroad in Russia which means 4 weeks in there. After arriving at the airport, I am so glad that I was picked up by KFU staff who were very nice and helped me a lot at that time. As you know that I had 4 weeks in Russia, the details of my program were divided into 2 main parts. From the 1st week to the 3rd week, I took part in research activities at the main campus of KFU. After that, I moved to Yelabuga to have an internship program at Ford Sollers company.

About Research at Kazan Federal University
Because my major is environment design, I had a chance to join in ecology laboratory at Kazan Federal University. On the first day, I had a meeting with everyone in the lab and introduced my research. After that day, my short-term study abroad in Russia started. In the ecology lab, with a lot of help from Russia students, I had many experiments such as grain, soil, carbon content, bidog eco plate, sampling analysis, soil column, DNA, anaerobic, liquid, chronophotograph. Moreover, I could get a lot of knowledge about antibiotics in grain, soil, vegetables from Russian professor.

About Internship at Ford Sollers company
In the last week in Russia, I moved to Yelabuga and had an interesting internship at Ford Sollers company. This is the first time that I can see how they can make and design a car in real. It was so lucky for me to have a meeting with the Director-General of Ford Sollers. At the meeting, I learned a lot of useful knowledge about business, society and so on. In this internship program, I could take part in many activities such as the welding workshop, the assembly workshop, the robotic workshop. Besides the time at Ford Sollers company, I also had some excursions in Yelabuga city. For example, excursion in the museum of the famous Russian painter Shishkin and Master-class at Elabuga Institute.
