St. Petersburg University had historical atmosphere at various places in it.
I participated in the international conference for the first time this time so I felt anxiety and tension that I had never felt before. But when I look back over it, I can learn a variety of things, I feel that I gained a very valuable experience. The especially valuable experience was speaking English. I was confident in my presentation in English because I regularly presented by speaking it in my laboratory seminar. But because it was a different situation from usual, I was not going to practice as I was tense. So I got this advice from the professor. "Steve Jobs also had regular practice. He was practicing switching slides in seconds." In other words, even those who are said to be first-class make thorough practice many times. The importance of repeated practice is necessary for not only presentation. From this experience I learned the necessity to be conscious of the stage in both of the knowledge and skill as well as the psychological aspect by repeated practice.
