3月1日，サンクトペテルブルク医科大学からミハイル・ザライスキー教授，モスクワ大学からセルゲイ・ネドスパソフ教授が来学し，本学主催「大学の世界展開力強化事業・ロシア特別講義」において講演しました。この特別講義は，ロシアの協定校と本学との研究交流を推進する目的で，サンクトペテルブルク医科大学及びモスクワ大学から，それぞれ腫瘍学及び免疫学のエキスパートを招へいし，講演を行ったものです。当日は約60名が参加し，各講演の後には活発な質疑応答が行われました。
また同日，両名は山崎学長を表敬訪問し，本学との交流拡大や，ロシアと日本における高等教育の共通点や違いについて意見が交わされました。

On March 1, Professor Mikhail I. Zarayskiy of Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University and Professor Sergei Nedospasov of Lomonosov Moscow State University visited Kanazawa University as the invited speakers of “Inter-University Exchange Project: Russia Special Lectures” hosted by KU. The purpose of the lectures was to promote research exchanges between the Russian partner institutions and KU, and the experts in oncology and immunology from Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University and Lomonosov Moscow State University were invited to speak. Approximately 60 persons participated, and active questions and answers took place after each lecture.
Also on the same day, the professors paid a courtesy visit to President Koetsu Yamazaki, and a friendly discussion took place on the topics of further exchanges with KU and the similarities and differences between university education in Russia and Japan.
