I am interested in religion, especially the Christian religion. That is because it has relation to culture and history. I always visit church when I stay abroad.
I know that Russian religion is different from other countries, so I had decided to visit church in Russia.
Also l have visited church in Scotland. I want to compare Scottish and Russian.

These ones were taken in Saint Petersburg.

I found two big differences.
First, Scottish one uses stained glass. However Russian one does not use it. It uses pictures and tile.

Second, there is difference in building construction. Scottish one’s roof is sharp. On the other hand, Russian has arched ceiling. It looks like a mosque.
I think both of them are very beautiful. Also it is very interesting that there are differences in spite of same religion.
I would like to visit church again.
