This was my second visit in Russia. This time, We, Kanazawa University students, went to Moscow, Kazan, and Saint Petersburg, and I would like to tell you about my great experiences in Moscow.

At first, we visited Federation Tower in Moscow, and got up onto the viewing platform. The height of the building is 374m, and it is the highest buildings in Europe and Russia. There, we overlooked the city of Moscow and felt that it was a very large city with a lot of greenery.

Second, we visited Losiny Ostrov National Park about 20km northeast of Moscow. Breeding staffs show us animals such as elks, horses, and squirrels.  Then, I found that they also engaged in animal protection activities such as taking care of sick animals, treating them and returning them to the forest.

At the end, we went to Saint Basil’s Cathedral in Red Square. It was a real gorgeous building symbolizing Russia not seen in Japan.

I felt Russia has beautiful nature, great buildings, and traditional cultures, and Russian people respect and protect them. Thank you.
