Cultural Exchange Program
Culture Exchange Program in Kanazawa University is one of the most interesting and unforgettable experience in my life. All students, who came with me from Kazan Federal University, had great opportunity to learn more about Japan culture and improve Japanese language. We had Japanese language classes, communicated with Japanese students from Kanazawa University and visited traditional Japanese gardens. All this components contributed to understanding and deepening of knowledges about culture and history of Japan.
We visited Kenrokuen garden, Higashi chaya District, Kurando Terashima's House and garden, many Shinto shrines and different temples. In Shinrenshya Temple we had experience of garden cleaning and traditional Japanese tea ceremony.

We observed many differenсes between Russian and Japanese cultures and got an idea about how we can improve our own life and life in Russia through borrowing wisdom of garden culture and history of Japan. As a result, we participated in a symposium in Kanazawa with speech about differences between our cultures.
