We went to Far East Marine Biosphere Reserve, which consists of marine and 11 islands. It has rich nature and ecosystem. More than 5,000 animals and plants live there so I felt as if I was in huge zoo. We got into mountains and islands following rangers. They are specialist in this area so they taught about animals and plants. It was so good experiment to me.
Especially I was interested in amur tigers after ranger’s lecture. They are in danger because they need huge forest to live but now deforestation progresses in this area and Taiga is reduced by 30%. And also there are many poaching. In these ways, it is difficult for them to live. But now this area is registered as BR and many rangers and biologists try to protect them. I hope amur tigers live forever.
