When we visited Popov island near Vladivostok, we listened to the story about shaman. That was interesting and I think most Japanese are unfamiliar with that. Unfortunately we were not able to see the real shaman but we experienced the prayer of shaman style as shown in the photo below. I am also interested in the clothes of shaman. They are very colorful and beautiful. I hope to see the real shaman someday.
