I joined culture exchange program in Russia for about 2 weeks. We joined summer camp with students of Kazan Federal University. I was excited by everything I saw in Russia because I went abroad for the first time. Especially, the summer camp was so impressive for me. We enjoyed dancing and games with KFU students. At night, I was surprised because they start to dance but I really enjoyed dancing with them. We could feel Russian culture during the camp. For example, ladies first, Russian food culture and so on. They were very positive for experiencing Japanese culture. I played karate, so they were interested in kata and they came to play it. Some of them have practiced karate, so they were good at playing karate. I was glad to enjoy karate with a lot of Russian students. And, they enjoyed Japanese culture, kimono, calligraphy, chopstick and hanaichimonnme. We also enjoyed games which Russian students prepare for us. Some of the games were similar to games in japan, for example, tug-of-war. I was surprised because there was a game which is similar to sumo. We could enjoy experiencing and learn Russian culture at the summer camp.
