At the second day we arrived in Moscow we visited Kremlin. It was like what I visualize when it comes to Russia.
Glorious buildings, complicated and extremely delicate paintings. There are such multiple impressive spots that we could not have enough time to look around everything with our short visiting.
We used the metro very often during our stay in Moscow. It enables us to visit many places by ourselves. The first thing that surprised me was a long and fast elevator. In Moscow station of metro is in an extremely deep in the ground. My friend told me it was because of the river and so on.
Secondly, many stations are like a small museum. There are paintings and sculptures. Every time we got off a metro there was another beautiful place that appeared. There is a situation in Japan that traditional appearance is being lost. Many places are becoming modern and some buildings destroy the ambiance of those traditional places. When I was in Moscow, I thought the traditional was not the style of the past, but it was still the style of the present time. We need to respect what we had and we need to think about how we want to change and how we can keep the tradition.
